Illuminated Signage, Opening Time Signage, Window Graphics and Banners

Objective

With renovations of the building recently completed, there was an opportunity to use the client’s branding to make the site highly visible but within planning regulations and permissions already approved.

A complete refresh of the outside of our client’s premises was discussed and to include new illuminated signage above the main entrance highlighting the main logo and company tagline, window graphics that catch the eye of passers-by and raise awareness of products available (but do not reduce daylight into building too much) along with product banners that are easily interchangeable and highly visible signage to inform customers of opening hours.

Process

Sourcing suitable illuminated signage with LED lighting and an aluminium frame suitable to withstand the Shetland weather. A mixture of opal acrylic backer to produce a nice white light and vinyl graphics to match the company’s logo were selected.

Designs were created (by Robert Wishart) for the window graphics and to ensure the graphics could withstand the heat encountered on the windows during the day without completely blocking out the light, a specific clear self-adhesive vinyl was selected for nine windows and contra vision graphics chosen for the remaining four was used to allow vision outwards for our client’s team. This also allows light to into the premises too.

Aluminium composite material was the selected for its durability and the opening time signs created to fit the available space at both the entrance and exit doors of the shop.

The 860mm tension banner system was installed and product banners designed and prepared to fit the system which allows for rapid and easy changeover of banners without having to use fixings.

Result

Loving the new graphics and signs thanks. I really like the contra-vision panels at the ends.
